Naughty Mirei & Blue Belt

Behold the naughtiness of Mirei.

Yesterday morning, when Wami wasn't looking, Mirei somehow managed to open up a whole package of Panko, and dump the entire thing into our 50 lb rice dispenser.  Great.  So now our next 30 lbs or so of rice will have Panko floating around in it.

Later in the afternoon, we went outside to blow bubbles.  Mirei had been bugging to do it all day.  While the kids were playing with the bubbles, Mirei insisted on holding the entire bottle herself so she could help herself.  The kids were having fun, so Wami and I let them play.  Next thing we knew, Mirei had dumped all of the bubbles onto her head.  Luckily, it was shower time.

This girl!!  Nothing but trouble.

Taisei took his first Karate test on Tuesday and today we found out he passed!  He's now a blue belt.  As soon as we get the new belt, we'll throw a picture on here.

What is Panko?

Congrats, Taisei! That's awesome. And he's so young! I am glad he stuck with the karate.

Ha, that was my first reaction - "What is Panko?" (I checked though, "a variety of flaky bread crumb used in Japanese cuisine as a crunchy coating for fried foods, such as tonkatsu"). Ha ha, naughty Mirei. I definitely have heard more "scary" stories about Mirei in one year than Taisei in five.

That is awesome that Taisei earned his blue belt. I can't wait to see his new picture :)
